Custom Hearing Protection

Fitting starts with a quick look inside each ear to confirm the canal is clear and healthy. From there, your hearing specialist places a small foam oto-block deep in the canal and injects a soft silicone impression material that captures the exact shape of your ear in a few minutes. The impressions come out cleanly, and the appointment itself usually takes about 30 minutes.

Those impressions are sent to our partner lab, where your plugs are crafted in the material, filter, and color you selected. With normal use and basic care, a quality set of custom earplugs typically lasts three to five years, sometimes longer. The silicone or hybrid material is durable, and most filters can be swapped if your noise needs change. The most common reason for replacement isn't failure, it's fit. Bodies change and ear canals slowly reshape, which can loosen the seal over time.
