We also check for moisture damage, corroded battery contacts, and feedback caused by a worn earmold. If the issue points to an internal failure that needs a sealed-unit rebuild, we send it out for a manufacturer repair, but most people walk out the same visit with working devices.

Cost depends on the issue and whether your aids are still under manufacturer warranty. Minor in-office services, such as cleanings, wax-guard or dome replacement, receiver swaps, and reprogramming, are inexpensive, and many are complimentary for clients who purchased their aids from us.

A manufacturer rebuild for an out-of-warranty device is typically a flat-fee repair that includes a fresh warranty on the work.
